Tour Plan

8:30 – OAXACA CENTRO

We’ll meet at the Temple of Santo Domingo de Guzman to hop on the bus and travel to our Zapotec communities.

TEOTITLAN DEL VALLE

We`ll visit different women led homes and workshops to learn about their wool rugs and the use of natural dyes and the importance of the elaboration of bee`s wax candles as part of their traditions.

MERCADO DE TLACOLULA

We’ll eat in one of the local markets where you can try a variety of different foods and fruits.

SAN MARCOS TLAPAZOLA

The place of the red clay, where incredible women show us the elaboration process of their red pottery pieces.

MEZCAL DISTILLERY

Female led distillery where you can taste a variety of craft mezcal elaborated there.
